T-gvg wknd snow storm pics

From the 3x/day snow shoveling Fri-today, to the xc ski tour I did yesterday on Baldy, I can say that we rec'd a 3-day storm total of at least 20" at my house. Easily closer to 24-30" up higher on northern aspects. What a kick start to winter! Luckily we only had to sit in so-so traffic up at the tunnel on I-70 Saturday night. I felt sorry for the thousands of travellers who sat in traffic yesterday. And even more so for those who were stranded when I-70 closed, and may have slept in the Silverthorne rec center. That's winter in the mtns for you...we go from bone dry conditions to mid-winter (and all of its consequences) within 3 days!
