guilty

feeling guilty about Alina having to go to summer camp or some kind of day camp, every day, all summer. What does “Summer Break” mean anyway, if she has to leave the house at 7:45 and get back after 5? I certainly won’t be in a hurry to tell Alina that I sat around and played outside all the time when I was a kid, b/c my mom didn’t work when I was a kid. Sometimes I wish Helen didn’t work much, or was a teacher and had the summers off!

 

I was home briefly for lunch today and saw a lot of kids outside playing. There seem to be a growing number of stay-at-home moms and dads. Money must grow on trees for some people.
