tour de trash

was the first local race yesterday out at America's 2nd most scenic landfill (there's one in Alaska that is most scenic, apparently). heavy legs Saturday night and all day Sunday didn't have me brimming with confidence. a poor start saw me in the back half of the field. i settled into a decent rythm and just hoped to hold Bernie's wheel for most of the race. the last lap i kind of fell off, but it was still a fun race. luke was about a min in front of me. I think I can catch him on Wednesday. hopefully today's ride on the path with Alina will flush out the legs, and I can rest and re-group tomorrow. I didn't lose any confidence yesterday. If I have good legs (and a good head) Wednesday at Frisco, I expect good things to happen.
