last day of ski season

it was awesome. 5-6" of fresh powder, no lines, not cold...I couldn't have scripted it any better. and I also snuck in about 2.5hrs of road riding. spring in Colorado!

ski season done

ski area closes this Sunday. it was a pretty good season, small rebound over last year. and a great season for snow, with over 500" and counting. a normal, average snow year in Breck is 300". certainly helped business, and i'd think can only help next year as well.

Last weekend we were down in Fruita for Helen's annual Spring Desert Ultra 50 miler. She had her nest time ever, and finished 2nd place to Anita Ortiz. Very happy with that.
