tentative 2010 cross schedule

That time of year! here's a look at the tentative schedule. Events (or frequency of events) subject to change in latter half of season, based on weather, motivation, etc.! However, I really want to race States this year, haven't done that in about 3 years.

Helen and I brought Alina to Clint's this morning for a bagel, and then we both dropped her off at Little Red afterwards. Surprisingly, I didn't cry. That will change when I pick her up at lunch!

Friday storytime with grandma

The weather Friday-Sunday was spectacular. On Friday Mary came up for one of her last days to watch Alina (a bit sad). As you can see, Mary was a big hit with the n'hood girls. I am sure they are all jealous they don't have a SuperG'ma like Alina does! Thanks Mary!!

welcome to the world, little man! My nephew Connor Boyles was born in the wee hours of Thursday, August 5th! Mom and he are happy & healthy. We are looking forward to spending more time with him. Hopefully soon Alina will want to hold him.

win

won the Keystone River Rally last night for the expert men 35-49 division. Held off Glenn from Salida (rides for Amicas), was a good race, only won by 2 secs after 1hr 15min on the trails. It felt good to go a bit beyond my limit, not crack, pass him, and then hold him off on the descent. First win in 3 years, I'll take it!
